Imam Irfan Chishti initially trained as a lawyer before undertaking a year out which became a 6-year path of traditional and oriental Islamic Studies.

He has completed a thesis countering the views of Osama bin Laden and worked in the field of interfaith relations for many years. Imam Irfan went on to set up Me and You Education in 2014, bringing people of hate together, including an ex-member of the EDL
